This is one of the most awsome battles I have ever wittnessed of any monster in MH, partly due to the fact that it lasted so long and you and the monster seemed to be on even grounds. Nicely orchastrated, to say the least.
@juug44 I love Monster Hunter for that... Even though I may get ticked off when I need a particular item and it takes me several attempts to obtain it, it's all the sweeter once I finally get it. That is basically the message of Monster Hunter, that "If you want something bad enough, you're gonna have to work really effin hard to get it!" I'd love for them to release this game in the US and EU... But what you said is probably the reason why they won't release it for a while...
his hp is low for an elder dragon, which hes died in 8 mins. Most elder dragons (kushala, teostra, lunastra, chameleos, fatalis) will always flee if enough damage is dealt, but this died easily
Actually it has great control of its power. It can push you away or draw you closer to it at will. The game designers just didn't allow ruko to rip off your armor.
is there a gou ruko in your vids i looked but didnt see 1. and yes the rank system goes to 999 in frontier. i dont see it coming to america any time soon if at all.
@yahnlao I think this monster can actually inflict a new ailment called magnetism which it can actually use to suck you in during a certain attack or force push you away
How awesome is this; An Elder Dragon that controls magentism! They basically turned Magneto into a dragon! That is so awesome! It just sucks that I'll never be able to fight it...
MHFO has put so many challenging beasts into play... I wish it came out in the US and Europe. It would give skilled hunters a real challenge. I'm HR 9 in Freedom Unite and I'm HR 41 in Tri and while I face tough challenges, I'd like to try some of the stuff Frontier has to offer. Frontier has "Hardcore" versions of regular monsters, that are even stronger and possess newer, even more powerful attacks that can brutally end you! I WANT THAT!
@SmithOfGear92 Same here. I love that you have to work for what you want in MH. But yeah like I said before because a lot of the player base elsewhere wants instant gratification, they won't release the MMO version.
@AznofHK Yes. It doesn't come close to Japan's sales. Over a good period (doesn't say how long a period) the sales were at 1.91 mil copies. Japan matched and way surpassed that within the first week of sales.
from the posters going on about the release of mh on 3ds and no the vita, from what ive read round the net, Sony and capcom had a falling out of sorts.
@juug44 I think they should still release it in America and Europe... How will you get people to learn if you don't give them the opportunity to learn? It'd be good to give it a try. And hey, it may do well because of all the Monster Hunter fans that actually like to really work hard for their rewards. I think it's worth a shot.
No, that is azure's main weapon however he does use other weapons. Let me ask you this if you never fought a monster before would you go fight the monster without a shield? Also azure isn't a noob, he has been playing this game for a while now.
@juug44 You're right. When bringing a game overseas, and not just any game but a massive multiplayer online game, the costs are going to be gargantuan.... So it's a tough call whether they should bring this game to America and Europe... But there are a lot of Monster Hunter fans in America and Europe, right? Not as much as Japan, but surely there has to be a lot? I think there would only be a small chance of catastrophic failure... But you can never be too careful during these times, y'know?
@juug44 so you're saying that 1.91 mil copies isn't more than enough to support servers? the point isn't whether if sales 'surpass' Japan's or not.. which it obviously won't.. but rather if there's money to be made and fans to be satisfied.
@MHTrification: thing is, MHFO is also owned by another company which explains why the MHFO monsters cant find their way to other versions of MH...and the japanese love watching us suffer and turn green with envy with all the stuff exclusive to them. So yeah, best bet is to learn hiragana, kana, and flat out just become a japanese citizen. Espinas is hardcore.
@silvertigrex It's pretty darn awesome with some of the things they have. Game centers like a MH cafe or Pokemon Center are present for the sole purpose of players coming together and interacting. These games are highly social and places like that promote social activity.
@sosolid1gp Actually they do know that we want. And I was told Capcom had a different team for frontier which is why this game isn't being localised and why the monsters are not redesigned.
@ChryI Because capcom doesn't have the facilities for this game and to set them up would cost more money then they're willing to spend on a playerbase outside of japan that is less then 1 million. unless the of the world can bring itself to match just a quarter of japan's playerbase, than maybe you would see more MH outside japan.
@SmithOfGear92 Perhaps but it's be a huge and very expensive gamble. It takes millions of dollars to import a game into another country, create the servers, translate the game into the different languages, and promote it in said countries. If they failed that would mean entire studios being shut down.
@AznofHK Simply put they don't feel good about expanding MHF globally. I would love them if they did but I can't blame them for not feeling good about it.
can someone make me an account or show me a working step by step guide on how to? I do not understand Taiwanese and have tried to create account on the website... But I get an error which I cannot copy and put into google translate XD. It starts with -21 (some taiwanese letters)... thanks
@Neoblitzer 1st: i laughed so hard coz that comment ;D 2nd: because this one really got great, or not? 3rd: the other monsters in mhfo are also great, yes, but this on and maybe espinas look so great that they also should be envolved in a game here in europe. i don't want to have to get a kssn for this. =(((((
@DragonHunterX I hear you. When it comes to Monster Hunter being released outside of Japan, its like Cacom dances around the point. They bead around the bush and not give people a direct and simple answer. They're doing the exact same thing with Portable 3rd. That game was released December of last year, and now 8 months later, they still have yet to tell us anything! Quit BS'ing us Capcom! Give us a straight answer: YES OR NO. And they better not blame it on that damn earthquake!
I think monster hunter has the potential to be as big as World of Warcraft in America. For some reason tho, they wont release the good stuff to the world!!
@KukuNutXY Actually no. In Japan 3DS are the top selling consoles there. And Monster Hunter is the best selling game period there. They're releasing it on the 3DS because that's what everyone has now. PSP is obsolete and the people want the next MH. They have MH/Game Cafes for christ's sake for the sole purpose of players to come together and do multiplayer hunts.
@juug44 from a business perspective.. it's usually 'if there's money to be made then lets do it' most of the time businesses risk introducing something to a new market even though models predict an initial lost of money.. as far as i know. look at amazon; half of the products they sell make them lose money.
@RobineLCP This is monster hunter, wouldnt be very fun if, after all that hard work, the game tells you that you failed the mission because he stayed in the air away from harm.
@AznofHK Again, not really. It's more of, "can we make back our money fast enough for the publishers and gain a large enough profit margin to keep it going." I think that it'll be a no on that account to them. Amazon doesn't sell their product at a lost. Everything sold by Amazon themselves are at a good and reasonable profit margin. You may be talking about user products which sells their stuff through Amazon. Amazon just charges a fee to them.
@juug44 i guess we have different views.. one thing for sure though, bezos himself said that he invests in markets where he initially loses money in the end i guess the decision is capcoms :\
@MakeEmRageQuit Look... I know theres more to it then the crap I'm babbling about. With these tough times we're going through, everyone is tightening their belts with this economy. It takes a long time to translate everything. Shipping and packaging is difficult, not to mention that A LOT of money goes into multiplayer online games. So if it's not ready to go, that I can understand. I just wish I knew where to look to find where capcom maybe bring us up to speed on how things are going.
@silvertigrex Because they, rightly so, believe that Americans want instant gratification instead of working for what you want. MH is game that rewards hard work, teamwork, and persistance. Something a lot of Americans, especially the ones that play MMOs, simply won't like because they want instant gratification. Does it have potential? Yes but we're going to have to ween MMOs players off of instant gratification.
This is one of the most awsome battles I have ever wittnessed of any monster in MH, partly due to the fact that it lasted so long and you and the monster seemed to be on even grounds.
Nicely orchastrated, to say the least.
@TheDillonater its the classic elder dragon pattern. it existed way earlier than alatreon (teostra, lunastra, kushala daora)
@SmithOfGear92 Exactly. Maybe the chance of failure is still too high but I hope they do release it.
his hp is low for an elder dragon, which hes died in 8 mins. Most elder dragons (kushala, teostra, lunastra, chameleos, fatalis) will always flee if enough damage is dealt, but this died easily
Geez, looks like Monster Hunter has come a long way since collecting Kut-Ku scales from Dung Piles...
Actually it has great control of its power. It can push you away or draw you closer to it at will. The game designers just didn't allow ruko to rip off your armor.
Oh i wish i could play Frontier and fight that thing :3 looks fun! btw you are REALLY awesome with the lance in all of your videos!
is there a gou ruko in your vids i looked but didnt see 1. and yes the rank system goes to 999 in frontier. i dont see it coming to america any time soon if at all.
@MHTrification Of course it's MHFO only.... *facepalm*
Espinas,Orange Espinas,Pearl Espinas,Akura Vashimu,Akura Jebia,Berukyurosu,Doragyurosu,Paria Puria,Nono Orugaron,Kamu Orugaron,Raviente,Raviente Subspecies,Dyuragaua,Gurenzeburu and Rukodiora are MHFO only!
@yahnlao
I think this monster can actually inflict a new ailment called magnetism which it can actually use to suck you in during a certain attack or force push you away
Wow once again this is a great video. Also what is that set and what are the skills?
How awesome is this; An Elder Dragon that controls magentism! They basically turned Magneto into a dragon! That is so awesome! It just sucks that I'll never be able to fight it...
@Attatsu
He is supposed to be a 'magnetism' based wyvern.
@SmithOfGear92 Same here. I love that you have to work for what you want in MH. But yeah like I said before because a lot of the player base elsewhere wants instant gratification, they won't release the MMO version.
AzureStarStone, you're a god of this game. Hats off to you and your mastery of the hunt
@FatalistCrusher It is for pc and 360.
@AznofHK Yes. It doesn't come close to Japan's sales. Over a good period (doesn't say how long a period) the sales were at 1.91 mil copies. Japan matched and way surpassed that within the first week of sales.
I'd say Kushala and Teostra had a similar pattern, but the Chameleos? I think he was pretty unique.
@juug44 have you looked at sales numbers of monster hunter tri or MHportable series in US?
from the posters going on about the release of mh on 3ds and no the vita, from what ive read round the net, Sony and capcom had a falling out of sorts.
@Neoblitzer what? =( mhfo is run by ynother company? not capcom?
@haertssunder82
どうもありがとうございます^^
岩とかなくして攻撃力高くしてくれた方がイライラも少ないですし剛種っぽいですよね。。
@juug44 I think they should still release it in America and Europe... How will you get people to learn if you don't give them the opportunity to learn? It'd be good to give it a try. And hey, it may do well because of all the Monster Hunter fans that actually like to really work hard for their rewards. I think it's worth a shot.

No, that is azure's main weapon however he does use other weapons. Let me ask you this if you never fought a monster before would you go fight the monster without a shield? Also azure isn't a noob, he has been playing this game for a while now.
what is the name of the lance you are using pls ? I have seen it in many videos but didnt find it in wiki
This is the monster included in the V.11 update, amirite?
@MHTrification: A lot of monsters are MHFO only so, why are you still alive?
this guy looks badass I wonder what system is it gonna be for pc or 360 or ps3?
@razmataz818 im pretty sure its called monster hunter frontier its out on xbox.
capcom is making so many alatreon-patterned monsters now...
@ToastedFrenchToast frontier was out before mh3 so they didn't put switch axe's
@juug44 so you're saying that 1.91 mil copies isn't more than enough to support servers?
the point isn't whether if sales 'surpass' Japan's or not.. which it obviously won't.. but rather if there's money to be made and fans to be satisfied.
@Kororocks12 It happened during the Rajang, White Fatalis, and an eel had sex and formed Navaldeous
Hmmm I think you are right...In any case They need to release a new one here.
What is his attribute so posed to be?
actually this pattern is from mh1, the beginning, its just a smaller form of fatalis really.
たしかルコディオラって今回新たに出てきたモンスターですよね?
(あと確かタイクンザムザでしたっけ?
@ChryI because there releasing it on the psvita instead so that graphics will be improved, it was a last minute decision
Good point
May Ruko doesn't do that because it can't control its power that well
What is his attribute so posed to be? Oh and why the hell is there a piggy in the battle?!
@edibtra No, that's wrong.
In MHFO elder dragons not flee.
They have less damage then in MHFU so they must be killed in 1 Quest.
@silvertigrex
It's pretty darn awesome with some of the things they have. Game centers like a MH cafe or Pokemon Center are present for the sole purpose of players coming together and interacting. These games are highly social and places like that promote social activity.
Yeah!!, i agree with you, the Chameleos was very different from the other elder dragons
What skills do you get from the rukodiroa armour ??
@sosolid1gp Actually they do know that we want. And I was told Capcom had a different team for frontier which is why this game isn't being localised and why the monsters are not redesigned.
where is this game available?
Invictus is the us pc version of monster hunter, well closest thing to monster hunter for for pc in the us
@ChryI Because capcom doesn't have the facilities for this game and to set them up would cost more money then they're willing to spend on a playerbase outside of japan that is less then 1 million. unless the of the world can bring itself to match just a quarter of japan's playerbase, than maybe you would see more MH outside japan.
@NintendoGraham oh, so i guess i'm wrong.

The lances strike 4xs over,awsome
I think HC kirin has that title.
新しい古龍種か~^^羽根の形、尻尾など古龍種独特の特徴を感じられますね^^
@DyingIsFunny he is isnt he? i also thaught his animations were unique, but noooo. Its more like an alatreon
can someone make me an account or show me a working step by step guide on how to? I do not understand Taiwanese and have tried to create account on the website... But I get an error which I cannot copy and put into google translate XD. It starts with -21 (some taiwanese letters)... thanks
watching this just makes me sad because i will probably never be able to play this game D,=
It can't control magnetism it controls the wind. Have you ever seen or played MHP3rd?
カッコよしす
I know it does.
I was just trying to give an explanation as if Ruko would be real.
what monster hunter is this
I think I found my new favorite dragon. He's awesome!
why didnt the dragon fly in the sky? too heavy? it got wings....
I wish they'd just open a small English server for Frontier and expand it as it becomes more popular. I wanna fight this thing!! D:
@Neoblitzer 1st: i laughed so hard coz that comment ;D
2nd: because this one really got great, or not?
3rd: the other monsters in mhfo are also great, yes, but this on and maybe espinas look so great that they also should be envolved in a game here in europe. i don't want to have to get a kssn for this. =(((((
Why don't we have this game in America!
I love monster hunter! This guys looks freaking EPIC!
XD
This is just another reason why i want to learn japanese....
This game needs to be world wide!
Y U NO RELEASE IN US AND EU
omg,this monster is unreal...,CANT WAIT TO SLAY ONE! ^-^

@SinkingMiasma
LOL TRUE!, i remember that moment vividly, patienly scrape dung
nice!
@ChryI in a few days i will post a vid about this game please fallow it
@juug44 from a business perspective.. it's usually 'if there's money to be made then lets do it'
most of the time businesses risk introducing something to a new market even though models predict an initial lost of money.. as far as i know. look at amazon; half of the products they sell make them lose money.
this monster is sick
I wish i had monster hunter frontier

lol so capcom arnt releasing mh games in the eu and us bcos they seem to think people dont want it, but i think they are gravely mistaken!
This Monster is so epic I Seriously had tears in my eyes. >_
ルコカッコイイ♪
ルコディオラのボウガンは最高だぜ!
1:48 Lol he Was Like : BANKAI !
the first monster i see causing dragon elemental damage öÖ
i understand what you say, bur i disagree with the "most memorable and the best" part and chameleos is not present in ala
@juug44 i guess we have different views.. one thing for sure though, bezos himself said that he invests in markets where he initially loses money
in the end i guess the decision is capcoms :\
It's a remake Alatreon
@MakeEmRageQuit Look... I know theres more to it then the crap I'm babbling about. With these tough times we're going through, everyone is tightening their belts with this economy. @KingzoMaster hi there!! :D
